We kick things off with 2025 RVR Bank Half Mile Family Fun Run!
The 1/2 mile family fun run will kick-off at 6pm and is sponsored by RVR Bank!
Family Fun Run Presented by RVR Bank:
Younger runners will have their own moment to shine with the Half Mile Family Fun Run, proudly presented by RVR Bank. This non-competitive event offers a fantastic opportunity for families to experience the joy of running in a supportive and fun environment. All participates will recieve a custume finisher medal. To encourage participation, RVR Bank is offering complimentary registration for the Kids Dash. Simply use promo code: RVRBank when registering online.

Competitive Action Begins
At approximately 6:10 p.m., we'll have multiple waves of runners taking off every 8-12 minutes. Each wave will be capped at a certain size to create an intimate feel, yet maximize participation. Plus, with runners either waiting for or just having finished their heat, everyone will be able to encourage their fellow runners as they run until they’re lactic!
*Each runner will be notified of their heat time 1 week prior to the event and heat assignments will be at the sole discretion of run nebraska.
The WLM Elite
We finish the night racing off with the Elite Men and Women featuring some of the fastest Mile Runners in the Midwest!
Prize Money
Run Nebraska is pleased to announce the 2025 White Light Mile, which will offer substantial prize money to the male and female winners.
Male Winners:
- Up to $700 in prize money
- $300 in prize money for overall male winner
4 for 4 Challenge - $400 for breaking 4 minutes, see below for details.
Female Winners:
- Up to $800 in prize money
- $300 in prize money for overall female winner
5 for 5 Challenge - $500 for breaking 5 minutes
New Challenges Details:
- Run Nebraska in partnership with USATF Nebraska will introduce two new challenges:
- 4 for 4 Challenge for men: $400 for any man who breaks the four-minute mile mark. The winner must also be the overall male winner.
- 5 for 5 Challenge for women: $500 for any woman who breaks the five-minute mile mark. The winner must also be the overall female winner.
Each age group winner will be eligible $50 in prize money.

What You Get
Each participant will receive a swag bag full of goodies that all runners love, and a ticket for free post-race food. We'll also have some of our very best physical therapy friends there afterward to help you stretch out and relax. And, throughout the evening, there will be entertainment along the course and back at the Five-0-Five.
All runners will be eligible for awards, and we'll recognize the top overall male and female finisher with a custom-medal and a sweet winner's prize pack. Plus, the top male and female finisher in each age group will also take home hardware. Awards will be announced at approximately 7:45 p.m., so stick around.

The top 3 overall male and female finishers and the top male and female in each the following age groups will be recognized for their valiant efforts:
14 & under
14-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+
*Overall winners will not be eligible for age group awards.
Packet Pick-up
We will offer two packet pick-up options.
The first will be the evening before, beginning at 6 p.m. at Five-O-Five Brewing Company located 349 N Main St in Fremont. Those that attend this packet pick-up will be entered into a prize drawing with some great running-related prizes!
Option two is on the day of the race at the Five-0-Five beginnin
g at 5 p.m. Race day packet pick-up will close at 6 p.m.
